Under New Ownership
Turf’s Up OBX is under new ownership! Tim Morton and Sandy Cross have taken the reins and are present and active owners that support other local businesses in the OBX area as well as the golf and other local sports industries.
Reserve your bay time and enjoy golf, baseball, soccer and over 13 other sports and games on our high-quality simulators. We want you to enjoy your stay in the Outer Banks, so whether it’s raining, too hot, windy or buggy at the beach, step inside because it’s always sunny at Turf’s Up and fun for all ages and skill levels. We LOVED Turf’s Up OBX!!! With the weather not being the greatest during our stay, we were looking for some fun indoor things to do. We booked a bay for 2 hours which was perfect for our small family. My 7 year old said that has been his favorite part of OBX so far this trip and asked if we can go back each time we visit!

We stopped in while on vacation for an indoor activity on a cold day, and Turf’s Up OBX did not disappoint! Tim was extremely helpful and took his time explaining everything to us. Our family (including three kids) had a great time playing the different simulation games. The facilities were clean and well kept. Highly recommend!

The Buzz
Not every day is the perfect beach day. While weather forecasts for rain, wind and temperatures are pretty easy to understand, we can’t say the same for the ocean.
No matter what flag is flying, whenever you are on the beach know your location, when possible swim near a lifeguard and always heed the advice/directions provided by local ocean rescue personnel.

Turf’s Up OBX is perfect family entertainment. There is truly something for everyone. The world-class custom designed HD golf and sport simulation technology allows you to play, practice, and compete at an amazing variety of sports. You can also get lessons or take classes from the in-house golf professional!
If you need something more than snacks, please feel free to bring your own food. There are many restaurants that are within walking distance and that offer take out so why not carry-out something fresh and delicious! Our favorite nearby restaurants are Vinny's Pizza Joint, The Pony and The Boat, Barefoot Bernie's, and Papa Johns. Outside beverage are not permitted in Turf’s Up. You must be at least 18 years old to work for Turf’s Up OBX and to serve alcohol in North Carolina. In order to serve alcohol in North Carolina and prior to employment with Turf’s Up OBX, you will need to complete the North Carolina Seller Server Alcohol Training Awareness course by going to the following link:
